Ochibana: Fallen Flowers
Ochibana: Fallen Flowers is a falling block puzzle game based on traditional card games played with a hanafuda deck.
Deal cards from the next queue and place them on the board. Manage risk to score points with the cards remaining on the board, but make sure to match cards of the same suit to build up your point multiplier and avoid topping out.
Enjoy three escalating difficulty levels of Single Player mode or face off locally against friends in Versus mode. New to hanafuda card games? Learn quickly with our simple tutorial and easy to follow in-game Yaku guide.

loving the title music! having an issue where the interface is clipping in the embed
that's interesting; on my browser the default behavior is to pop out into a separate window...I will have to do some research on how to fix that.
As a short-term workaround, if you increase magnification (by holding ctrl and rolling your mouse wheel), it should move the banners away at like, 120% or so.
This project is absolutely lovely! I love how unique this project is, even though I suck at it. The presentation is well done and the mechanics are interesting. I love how it makes you think about whether to clear tiles or not, where compared to other falling block games you just focus on clearing. I like the bonus mechanic system and the extra rounds, which I presume have more mechanics in them based off the tutorial. (I couldn't beat board one.) I would love a feature to see the bonuses available rather than to wait to the end of the round however, since it seems like bonuses are the main way to get high scores. Overall, I love it and I'm glad you included a verses mode as well.
We initially had scoped a page for all the yaku in the tutorial section of the game, but cut it for time, especially when we considered that folks would simply try again if they Ate It on the first stage...in the future, when I get around to adding a pause screen, it might be a convenient place to store an additional reminder
Awesome! I love the work done on the results screen as well, and the way it builds up to the final result.
